Villa Loiki is a magnificent “home away from home”, and even so much more!

The
LOCATION
Matemwe is characterized by a pristine white sandy beach, populated with private luxury villas and intimate boutique hotels. Here you will find peace and quiet, whilst still surrounded by ample opportunities to have a cocktail or a meal outside of the villa if you wish. This strip of beach, also referred to as the island’s “Golden Mile” due to the lack of mass tourism make the perfect setting for romantic walks along the shore against the background of a turquoise water lagoon.
Meanwhile, the villa is still very conveniently located close to the end of the main road, which stands for easy access to and from the house. Finally, the proximity of the local village ensures an additional level of security.
The
POOL
Facing the ocean and immediately overlooking the beach, our pool is the ideal place to enjoy a morning swim, sipping an aperitif in the sun or invigorate after a day of exploring Stone Town. The stunning pool is surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and offers breathtaking views over the lagoon and the fishermen’s boats sailing along …
The leisure pool is surrounded by an area of shallow water which is very enjoyable for kids to play in, but is likewise appreciated by adults! The pool is exposed to warming sunshine all day long for pleasant water temperatures, even when the night has fallen. It is 1.75m at its deepest for security reasons.
The
VERANDA & PERGOLA
As one tends to live outside in Africa, the veranda and the pergola are used as our outdoor living and dining area. A perfect place for breakfast or dinner, read a book, or do some work.

The pergola, one step lower than the veranda, offers another 80 m2 of equally enjoyable space to sit, rest, have tea, play cards or enjoy a board games, all facing the lagoon directly …
In total, both the veranda and pergola are offering 160 m2 of outside living space with frontal sea views over our pool, the beach and the lagoon.
In the evening the moon is really spectacular when rising out of the ocean …
The
BEDROOMS
The villa offers four spacious double bedrooms, which are beautifully decorated and offer exquisite sea (3) or garden views. The rooms are equipped with super comfortable EU imported beds and air conditioning, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
The ground floor has two bedrooms, which share one large en-suite bathroom in between both rooms. Each of these rooms has its own toilet.
The first floor has two bedrooms, each with private en-suite bathroom. Both of them have marvelous and very spacious terraces with areas for relaxing and direct frontal sea view.
Safety deposit boxes are available in all rooms.
Additional beds can be provided for up to 4 people if required.
